The QR code holds a wa.me link. Any phone camera or Google Lens reads it and offers to open WhatsApp with a chat to your number and your message pre-filled.

Will the QR code stop working?

No. It contains a plain wa.me link, not a redirect through our servers, so it keeps working as long as your number is on WhatsApp.

What size should I print it?

At least 2.5 cm × 2.5 cm on a visiting card and 8–10 cm on a counter standee. Leave a white border around it and test-scan before printing in bulk.

Can I use it for my WhatsApp Business account?

Yes. It works with the WhatsApp Business app and with WhatsApp Business API numbers.
